OPSC Odisha Civil Services Result 2018 Main Examination

After the declaration of the result for the preliminary stage, the admit card will be provided to the candidates who qualify the first stage. The candidates taking the second stage will then need to qualify and they will be called for the final stage of the examination. The result for the main examination will be declared on the official website and can be downloaded in the same process as the after the first examination.

OPSC Odisha Civil Services Result 2018 Personal Interview

The final stage to clear the examination for the OPSC Odisha Civil Services is the personal interview. Only the candidates who clear the main examination will be called for the personal interview,,The admit card for the personal interview will be obtained from the website of OPSC online after the commencement of the final round the list of selected candidates for the post and services will be declared that will be the final result of the examination process and the selected candidates will then be assigned their posts.

Selection Process for OPSC Odisha Civil Services 2018

The examination as we know takes place in three stages the preliminary stage, Main examination and then the personal interview. The scheme to clear each section is as follows.
Preliminary examination: There is two paper in this section both the papers have multiple choice questions, The papers are General studies paper 1 of 200 marks and  General studies paper 2 of 200 marks. paper 2 of the preliminary stage is the qualifying paper and the minimum marks to qualify for this is 33% only when the first paper will be checked.
Main Examination: Papers coming under the main examination are listed below. which have to clear for qualifying the examination.
  • Paper 1- Odia language of 300 marks
  • Paper 2- English of 300 marks
  • Paper 3- English essay of 200 marks
  • Paper 4- General studies 1 of 300 marks
  • Paper 5- General studies 2 of 300 marks
Personal interview: The candidates will be asked questions on the general matter of interest. the objective of the interview is to judge the mental caliber of the candidate that will be decided by the board.
