President Donald Trump on Saturday bashed the Iran nuclear agreement after Tehran said it had test-fired a new ballistic missile and would keep developing weapons despite U.S. pressure.

Iran said Saturday that it had successfully tested a new the Khorramshahr missile that could travel about 1,200 miles and carry several warheads.
State-owned broadcaster IRIB carried footage of the test without specifying its time or location.
The video was taken by an on-board camera, which IRIB said showed the detachment of the cone that carries multiple warheads.
Trump told the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday that Iran was strengthening its weapons capability and charged that Tehran was exporting violence to Yemen, Syria and other parts of the Middle East.
He also attacked the 2015 nuclear deal and said Wednesday that he has made a decision on whether he will certify the accord and will announce it soon.
In July, the United States imposed new sanctions on Iran, saying its missile tests violated a U.N. resolution.
The United Nations has called on Tehran to not undertake develop any missiles that could deliver nuclear weapons.
Iran says it has no such plans.
In Israel, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman on Saturday called Tehran’s test “an act of provocation.”
Israel is 1,118 miles from Iran.
“This Iranian missile launch is an act of provocation and defiance against the United States and its allies, as well as an attempt to test them,” Liberman said.
He called the test “further proof of Iranian aspirations to become a world power that threatens not only the Middle East, but all the countries of the free world.”
Liberman warned against when such a ballistic missile would carry a nuclear warhead.
“Imagine what would happen if Iran would obtain nuclear weapons, something which it strives to do?” he posed. “We must not allow this to happen.”
